Descripton: Laguna Paron is the biggest lake in the Cordillera Blanca. It is an easy day trip with sweeping vistas of the Cordillera Blanca. Many snowcapped peaks can be seen from this turquoise lake, including Artesonraju, the mountain made famous by the Paramount Pictures logo.
The viewpoint is a short 30 minute hike to overlook the lake and see many of the Cordillera Blanca’s most beautiful mountains. It is also possible to rent kayaks at the lake for 30 soles/ hour.
